IACAT 2017 Proposal Deadline Extended to 30 June

Dear IACAT Member,

The 2017 conference is fast approaching: 18-20 August in Niigata, Japan.  We are pleased to announce that the proposal deadline has been extended to 30 June.  Interested in presenting?  Submit a proposal here.  You can also register here if you'd just like to attend and hear the excellent talks.  Reminder: the deadline for Early Bird registration is also 30 June!

We've received a number of excellent proposals so far, and a draft program will soon be available on the website.  You can view the current slate of keynotes, workshops, and symposia already at the conference homepage.

Additionally, we welcome nominations for the IACAT Early Career Award.  If you know anyone that finished graduate school in the past 10 years and is currently involved in CAT research, please nominate them!  The deadline for nominations is also 30 June.  More information is available here.  Winners are eligible for a travel grant to the IACAT conference.

Finally, June 2017 is the time for IACAT Board elections - watch for another message soon regarding the next iteration of IACAT Leadership, including instructions on how to vote.

We look forward to seeing you in Niigata!

The IACAT Board
