Reminder: IACAT Proposals Due April 1
Just a reminder, April 1 is the deadline for 3 things: paper proposals, Early Bird registration discount, and Early Career Award applications!
Paper Proposals
The deadline for submitting presentation proposals to the 2019 IACAT conference is less than two weeks away. Both single presentations and coordinated sessions of 3-4 presentations are accepted. We welcome methodological research such as simulations as well as practical applications and experiences with CAT and other AI advances in assessment.
Here are some suggestions:
-Applications of CAT: Education and Language
-Applications of CAT: Certification and Workforce
-Item generation, item banking, and form assembly
-Item selection and termination criteria
-IRT models (including multidimensional)
-Cognitive diagnostic models
-Multistage testing (MST)
-Other AI topics (e.g., automated essay scoring)
-Adaptive learning
Early Career Award
April 1 is also the deadline for applications to the Early Career Award. If you are 35 or younger and meet other requirements, please submit your dissertation or other research at the Awards & Grants page.
Early Bird Registration Discount
If you register by April 1, you receive a US$50 discount on your registration fee.
